These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Threaded.red. By accessing or playing Threaded.red, you agree to these terms and acknowledge our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Threaded.red is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. By starting the game, you confirm that you are at least 18 and legally able to accept these terms.

Threaded.red is an interactive fictional experience presented through a simulated phone and computer interface. It may contain mature themes and situations. Please read the 18+ Content Notice before playing.

Story characters, messages, companies, and events are fictional. They are not professional, medical, legal, financial, or relationship advice.

You may be able to play as a guest or protect your progress by linking an authentication provider. You are responsible for keeping access to your linked account secure and for activity performed through it.

Guest access is tied to the identity created for that guest session. If your browser data, device, or guest authentication identity is lost or removed before you link an account, we may not be able to restore access to the related progress.

We use reasonable safeguards for saves and account data, but no software or storage system is guaranteed to be uninterrupted or loss-free. Devices, browsers, networks, third-party services, and software defects can fail. Keep your account access current and report problems promptly.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain, secure, or improve Threaded.red. Availability of particular stories, chapters, and features may change over time.

Some content or features may require a paid membership or purchase. Prices, renewal terms, cancellation options, and payment details are shown by the relevant checkout or membership service before you commit. Their terms may also apply to the transaction.

Refunds are handled according to applicable law and the rules shown at purchase. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

You must not:

• break the law or infringe another person's rights;
• attempt to access accounts or systems without permission;
• interfere with the service or distribute malicious software;
• use automation to overload, scrape, or abuse the service; or
• circumvent access restrictions or payment controls.

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect players, the service, or third parties, or to comply with law.

Threaded.red and its original software, stories, artwork, branding, and other content are owned by or licensed to Threaded.red. These terms give you a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of that content to you.

Threaded.red is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not promise that every feature will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Any mandatory consumer protections in your location continue to apply.

We may update these terms as Threaded.red changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a change is material and the law requires it. Continuing to use the service after an update means the revised terms apply from their effective date.
